The largest current community project in Dansehallerne is
Ta´ fat om dansen which provide thousands of people the opportunity to dance.

It is a three-year nationwide dance project that offers inspiring and invigorating dance activities for all. Dance that challenges the individual in a creative and artistic community.
Ta’ fat om dansen is the largest dance project of its kind on Danish ground ever.

The project consists of four programmes. The overall goal is to provide people of all ages everywhere in Denmark an opportunity to meet dance under the guidance of professional dancers.

Ta’ fat om dansen is developed in partnership with six local/regional so-called Dance Lighthouses.
Altogether, these Dance Lighthouses consist of 26 municipalities and a variety of cultural and educational institutions throughout Denmark.
To each of the six Dance Lighthouses, a dance team is connected, consisting of professional dancers, choreographers and dance facilitators.

Ta’ fat om dansen runs in the period 2014-2017 and is managed by Dansehallerne.
The project is supported by the Nordea Foundation with a grant of 20.5 million DKK.
