Meat me – part of Close Encounters VOl. 2

THE FESTIVAL CLOSE ENCOUNTERS VOL. 2
MEAT ME – a performance installation
by Fabio Liberti & Emanuele Rosa (I)

The duet MEAT ME by the Italian artists Fabio Liberti & Emanuele Rosa (I) will premiere at the festival Close Encounters Vol. 2.

Two men existing in a shared dimension of space and purpose. The search for the self through the deliberate abandonment of the last element of exteriority.

Two entities of an infinite entirety engaged in the human gesture of undressing the superfluous. Interminable superfluous.
What can we really consider un/necessary?

Movable statues, seeking help within and without.

Peacefully querying to be freed from what they are, from what they have become and what the flesh testifies.

The meeting of the two, of one, of the thousand selves that crowd the space of the mind, in a game without interruptions and without rules.

Meat Me. Meet Me.
