Workshop/lecture: Working internationally – how to survive

The two choreographers and dancers Marie Tops (DK) and Olivia Riviere (DK/SE) will together with choreographer and director of Dansehallerne Efva Lilja (DK/SE) discuss and share their experiences.

Returning from the summer, Lone Vibe Pedersen is back from her maternety leave and will be at the Project Centre 20 hours per week. She will be working with the same areas as before.

Rikke Lund Heinsen has stopped at the Project Centre and has started working at the Danish National School for Performing Arts as responsible for the field Entrepreneurship. If you want to contact her, you can email her at rlh@scenekunstskolen.dk.

As most of you know, Dansehallerne will be moving out of the white house at Carlsberg (Tap E). The Project Centre and the rest of the administration of Dansehallerne will move to a temporary place at Regnbuepladsen 7 in Copenhagen in the middle of September 2017. We will be doing the same things – but a bit differently. We will have our meetings at Regnbuepladsen or at other places around Copenhagen depending on whom with or about. Of course we can still be contacted by mail or phone – and are looking forward to meeting you in the comming season.

The Project Centre has invited a member of the Danish Arts Foundation, Committee for Performing Arts Projects Funding, Kasper Daugaard Poulsen for an info meeting on April 19th at 17:30 at MødeNord at Dansehallerne. The meeting will primarily be in Danish.

The Project Centre has put out an invitation for two workshops on May 2nd, 2017: Entrepreneurship and how to work with PR and marketing. The workshops will be in Danish. If you have questions, please contact us at the Project Centre.

During four Tuesdays in May 2017 (9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th) we will facilitate open writing workshops from 12:00 to 16:00 hrs at MødeNord. All are welcome to attend, talk and write. Rikke and Jens Christian from the Project Centre will be around to help and answer questions.

Open Call for mentees for Nordic mentoring programme
There is an open call for managers, producers and self-producing choreographers for a one year mentoring programme (September 2017 – September 2018) under the Nordic Circle of Artistic Management.

Funding for the Project Centre undtil 30 June 2019
The Project Centre and Dansehallerne are happy to announce that we have received funding from the Danish Arts Foundation for the continuation of the Project Centre from 1 January 2017 until 30 June 2019, i.e. the rest of the 2016/17 season plus the 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons.

The Project Centre will still work with its core areas: administration and counselling for choreographers within the performing arts field.
